Cleaning business software for domestic and commercial cleaners
A cleaning business runs on the same few things whether it does houses or offices: a round of regular visits, the one-off jobs that make the money, proof that the work was done, and invoices that get paid. Dispatch puts all four in one place.

Regular rounds without booking every week by hand
Most cleaning is repeat work. Set a regular customer up as a repeating visit and it appears on the week calendar every week, fortnight or month, assigned to the cleaner who usually does it. Your time goes on the exceptions instead: a holiday, a swap, a one-off deep clean.
When you book, move or cancel a visit, the customer can get a confirmation email automatically, which cuts out a lot of “are you still coming on Thursday?” messages. Cleaners see their own visits in the app, and can subscribe to them in Google, Apple or Outlook calendar if they prefer.
Commercial contracts: one client, many sites
An office cleaning contract rarely means one address. A client can have several sites, and each visit is booked against the site where it happens, so the right address, notes and access details go to the right cleaner. The client’s completion history is grouped by site, which is exactly what a facilities manager asks for.
Periodic work such as carpet cleans, window rounds and deep cleans can be quoted and booked as separate jobs alongside the contract visits. Commercial cleaning contract software goes into what contract cleaners need in more depth.
Quotes for the one-offs
Deep cleans, end-of-tenancy cleans and after-builders cleans are where the margin is, and they are worth quoting properly. Send a branded quote that the customer accepts online, ask for a deposit if you want one, and when they accept, the deposit invoice is raised for them to pay by card. A written quote that lists what is and is not included also settles arguments about the oven before they start.
Proof the clean was done
In cleaning, the photograph often is the proof, and the customer is usually not there when the work happens. Completion reports let a cleaner record what was done, with before-and-after photos, against the job itself rather than in a camera roll. You build the report once, with your own questions, and every cleaner fills in the same one.
Getting paid without chasing
Raise the invoice from the job and send it as a branded PDF that the customer can pay by card online. Part payments and deposits are recorded as they land, so the balance you see is the real balance. Switch on automatic reminders and an unpaid invoice chases itself at 3, 10 and 21 days past due, in your name, then stops. See chasing unpaid invoices for the wording to use when you chase by hand.
Hours and staff
A lot of cleaning is priced by the hour and paid by the hour. Time can be logged against each job and exported as a CSV or a PDF timesheet, and because it is attached to the job you can also see which regular has quietly grown from two hours to three.
What Dispatch does not do
- Staff rotas and HR. It books and assigns visits, but it is not a shift-planning or payroll system, and it does nothing for TUPE.
- Key management. Access details live in the job notes and the job’s message thread rather than in a dedicated key register.
- Working without signal. Dispatch is built for the phone in your pocket, but it needs a connection.
If you run domestic rounds, software for domestic cleaners walks through a house-cleaning round on Dispatch step by step.
Questions
Cleaning business FAQ
Can Dispatch handle regular weekly or fortnightly cleans?
Yes. A regular customer can be set up as a repeating visit, so the clean appears on the calendar every week, fortnight or month without being booked by hand each time. One-offs such as a deep clean or an end-of-tenancy sit alongside them as individual jobs, and every visit can be given to a particular cleaner.
Can one commercial client have several sites?
Yes. A customer can have more than one site, and each job is booked against the site where the work happens. The customer’s completion history is grouped by site address, so you can show a facilities manager what was done at each building.
Can I prove a clean was done?
Completion reports record what was done on the job itself, with photographs, and you build the questions once so every cleaner answers the same ones. You can require them on deep cleans and end-of-tenancies and leave them off for routine visits.
Does Dispatch plan staff rotas or handle TUPE?
No. Dispatch books and assigns visits, logs time against jobs and produces timesheets, but it is not a shift-rota or HR system and does nothing for TUPE. Most cleaning businesses use it for the work and the money, alongside whatever they use for payroll.
